  Honestly came here on a whim- it was a Tuesday and we were looking to go out and check out a few breweries after our vineyard stops... but it seems everything on Keuka Lake (or the Finger Lakes in general?) were closed. So, on a reco from the staff at Bully Hill and not having many other options in the area, we came to Union Block for their Grotto downstairs and couldn't have been happier with our decision.
  
  It was slightly right after they opened, so nicely not very crowded which made finding seats at the bar fairly easy. Not the most extensive beer list, but still able to try a few local selections AND enjoy this famous mac and cheese we've read about. Unfortunately, the lobster mac and cheese wasn't available until the upcoming weekend, so we settled for their daily special with the chicken, spinach and chorizo in rose sauce m&c and it was incredible! Very dense and filling and a large order was enough to satisfy two people for dinner. The bread with dinner was also really nice- super soft and came with delicious roasted garlic.
  
  Our bartender/server was very friendly and conversational- wish I caught his name but all in all, Union Block is definitely worth a visit if you're in Hammondsport.
